The journey of Kingdom Connection Ministries started with a divine Initiative and call from God. In 2016, God gave Bishop John A. Wilkinson the ministry outlines and vision plan. However, after prayer and counsel with the Lord, the timing for the ministry had not come. The Lord continued to move throughout the years preparing Bishop John for the direction of his own ministry. In 2020, Bishop John started a Zoom platform called The Uplift Covenant Fellowship. The fellowship was created where several Pastors, Leaders, and Ministers from various states would join every Thursday evening to uplift one another through topical discussion, prayer, encouragement, and words of wisdom. Through the Zoom platform, Kingdom Connection Ministries Bible Study was also started on Tuesday nights. Bible study--now known as Life Application Bible Study L.A.B.S--started growing with people hungry and thirsty for the Word of God. It was not long after Kingdom Connection Ministries was launched.
Bishop John met Metropolitan Archbishop Apostle Jason Owen of Biblical Deliverance Ministries through a mutual friend of his named Bishop Kevin Chung. Archbishop Apostle Owen is a significant influence, friend, mentor, counselor, and spiritual covering for Bishop John and Kingdom Connection Ministries. Both ministries are in covenant partnership and will serve as covenant churches.
